During his service at BACH, Dr. Pike was deployed to Afghanistan and was honored with the Bronze Star medal for his service. After Dr. Pike was honorably discharged from his U.S. military service in 2007, he then moved onto the Tennessee Department of Health where he worked as Medical Director at the Stewart County Medical Center in Dover, Tennessee. A graduate of Aurora University with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Social Work, Jacqueline brings a unique blend of empathy, organization, and leadership to her role. Her background in social work gives her a deep understanding of patient needs and effective team collaboration, which she applies daily to create a positive and efficient clinical environment. \n

After dedicating 12 years to homeschooling their children, Jacqueline returned to the workforce with a renewed sense of purpose. She takes great pride in managing the administrative and operational aspects of Elite Primary Care, helping the practice grow while maintaining its high standard of excellence. \n

Shannon Horstman, PA-C<\/span>, is from Clarksville, TN. She attended Austin Peay State University where she majored in Biology with a minor in Pre-Professional Health. She graduated with a Master\u2019s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.\n

\nShannon has experience in Emergency Medicine, OB\/GYN, and Primary Care for pediatrics and adults. Her top priority as a Family Medicine provider is to ensure each patient receives the best, evidence-based medical care for the management of acute and chronic conditions.\n

Katherine Shelby, FNP-C<\/span>, is from Lexington, TN. She attended Jackson State Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing. She later received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governors University. After working for several years as a Registered Nurse she graduated with her Masters Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Austin Peay State University. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.\n

\nKatherine has experience in gastroenterology, neonatal and pediatric populations, and Primary care for pediatrics and adults. Her goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered and evidence-based care that addresses the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the whole person, serving as a lifelong learner and a dedicated advocate for her patients.\n

\nKatherine lives in Robertson county with her husband and daughter.
